Skin Rejuvenation

General information

Skin changes are among the most visible signs of aging. Skin changes are related to environmental factors, genetic makeup, nutrition, and other factors. The greatest single factor, though, is sun exposure. This can be seen by comparing areas of your body that have regular sun exposure with areas that are protected from sunlight.

Signs of aging skin

There are 4 clear signs that we can recognise easily:

1.     Skin become thinner, dry, rough, unsmooth and wrinkles appear increasingly.

2.     Skin pigment change and the tone of skin is unmatched because the appearance of increased or decreased pigments in some areas of skin.

3.     Skin vasodilation that appears many small blood vessels.

4.     Skin loses firmness, tracks of skin is deeper and gradually appear the sagging of skin.

Causes of Aging Skin

Research shows that there are, in fact, two distinct types of aging. Aging caused by the genes we inherit is called intrinsic (internal) aging. The other type of aging is known as extrinsic (external) aging and is caused by environmental factors, such as exposure to the sun’s rays.

Intrinsic Aging

Intrinsic aging, also known as the natural aging process, is a continuous process that normally begins in our mid-20s. Within the skin, collagen production slows, and elastin, the substance that enables skin to snap back into place, has a bit less spring. Dead skin cells do not shed as quickly and turnover of new skin cells may decrease slightly. While these changes usually begin in our 20s, the signs of intrinsic aging are typically not visible for decades.

Extrinsic Aging

A number of extrinsic, or external, factors often act together with the normal aging process to prematurely age our skin. Most premature aging is caused by sun exposure. Other external factors that prematurely age our skin are repetitive facial expressions, gravity, sleeping positions, and smoking.

1.    ELOS technology

The revolutionary elōs™ combination of Bi-Polar Radio Frequency and Light energies to precisely heat the dermal tissue within the targeted treatment area. The precise heating ensures a safe, effective, fast treatment with no downtime. Fine wrinkles are reduced, noticeable lifting can be observed on sagging skin and the texture of your skin becomes smoother, more luminous and toned.

2.    Triniti technology

This technology is a combination of three technologies includes: IPL light, Laser and RF electromagnetic waves to prevent to some extent the natural process of aging skin. This technology is new in Vietnam but actually it is applied by a lot of dermatologists all over the world.

3.    Thermage technology

Since radiofrequency of Thermage works by heating the web of collagen in the skin, the treatment creates an immediate tightening as well as improved tone and texture of the skin. A distinct advantage of the Thermage procedure is that the improvements will continue and become even more noticeable with time. Because the effects of this treatment are gradual, no one will know that you had a cosmetic procedure done. Tightening effects of Thermage treatments generally continue for up to six months to a year following the procedure in the form of new collagen growth. Because Thermage is a non-invasive procedure, it does not carry risks associated with surgery or other semi-invasive cosmetic treatments.
